All of our shovels are manufactured in Canada using the highest and strongest quality of aluminum available. All of our scoops are interchangeable with the handle that best suits your unique requirements.

Shovel Handles

The final link in a successful avalanche rescue lies in your ability to rapidly dig your partner out from under suffocating debris. An inferior shovel is no use to you!

That is why, along with your SOS shovel scoop, you will need to add our ergonomically engineered shovel handle.

Each handle is designed with an off-set ‘T’ handle for maximum strength, shorter collapse length, and longer extendable length. Each off-set ‘T’ handle can be rotated 180 degrees to best fit your grip. Each handle is manufactured with 6061 aluminum for weight savings and superior digging power.

In addition to the Probe-In Handle option we also have a Saw-In Handle option. (As pictured.)
